This week Ergro have secured a new contract win, within a prominent building in London’s world famous jewellery quarter – Hatton Garden.
After a successful tender process following a consultant referral, we are proud to be embarking on the delivery of the following chiller replacement works package:
– Validation of existing chilled water pumps, chiller power supplies and chilled water quality
– Management of road closure/crane lifts/traffic management
– Replacement 2 no. roof mounted Carrier 670kW chillers with new – Carrier chillers, complete with new acoustic enclosures
– Replacement existing primary and secondary chilled water pumps
– Replacement existing degasser and chilled water pressurisation unit
– Replacement existing BMS controls
– Replacement local isolation valves and components to chilled water system
– Replacement thermal insulation to altered pipework
Due to the confined nature of the chiller compound area, it has been imperative that we strategically designed fully detailed CAD coordination drawings, ensuring that the new chillers and equipment fit within the existing space constraints.
The chillers are serving a live office environment, so our programme of works has been carefully phased to avoid disruption to the cooling within the building.
Works will mobilise this summer for a rigorous 8 week programme.
