Meet The Team Meet The Team – Daisy Davis

This week our ‘Meet the Team’ shines a light on our Office Apprentice – Daisy Davis. Whilst catching up with Daisy, we found out a bit more of what her day-today life is like, both inside and outside of his role at Ergro…

You joined Ergro in March, how are you getting on?

“I’m really enjoying my new job! The staff were so lovely and welcoming. They helped me settle in quickly, and it has been a big learning experience and a big change from retail. It’s great to help out people in other roles and to look up to people in higher roles like the directors and managers for learning experience.”

What made you choose to work Ergro?

“I came across a job advertisement for Ergro on Facebook. What ultimately convinced me to accept the job was the supportive atmosphere I experienced during the interview. It was a confidence booster for me to feel supported, especially because I had recently left school and was still working in retail.”

What’s the best part of your job?

“The best part of my job is having the opportunity to be creative, especially when designing and creating the monthly newsletter. My job also allows me to keep the office clean and organised, which is important to me as I have OCD. Additionally, I look forward to going to work every day because everyone is so nice and funny, which really makes my job enjoyable.”

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

“In 5 years I will be 24 and still see myself at Ergro, grasping at every opportunity they give me and taking full advantage, gradually working my way up. Hopefully in 5 years I will be more involved with the health and safety side of the business, as I find all that super interesting.”

What is your biggest pet peeve?

“Biggest pet peeve would probably be dirty fingernails! As someone who likes to get their nails done on a regular basis, I cannot stand to have dirty fingernails, they’ve always got to be in tip top shape!”

You find a lottery ticket to win £10 million. What would you do?

“If I found £10 million, I would first buy my dream car—a Bentley Continental GT Sport Convertible. Then, I’d invest in some properties as a secondary source of income, fix them up, and rent them out. Next, I’d book holidays to the Maldives, Thailand, and Greece. Finally, I’d invest the rest of the money in an investing account.”

If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

“I would want a childhood teddy elephant of mine, and I’d also want my Sunglasses because I’m going to be tanning the whole time!”
